Prior to therapy, I would attend school everyday feeling significant pain due to headaches. I was taking ibuprofen daily, seeing doctors and struggling in school. My pain hindered my ability to achieve the academic potential I had at the start of my junior year. A few months have made all the difference, and now I’m wrapping up junior year headache free and 10 times happier.

Before vision therapy I was having problems with reading and I had skipped lines and words. Vision therapy helped me. They made me do all kinds of activities from sports to reading with flippers. It was a big help. Thanks vision therapy!

Before vision therapy I was having problems with reading and comprehension. I also flipped my b and d. I would skip words and have to reread a lot. And the reason I did not like to read was because I got frustrated a lot. I would recommend it because now I can read without skipping over lines and it is not frustrated.

Before vision therapy I was having problems with copying notes and I got car sickness a lot. My memory has gotten a lot better. I can visualize a lot better than I used to. My eyes used to not be able to focus that well, but they can now. Vision therapy helped with seeing double, complete assignments on time, my work ethic, multitasking and my headaches.

We started vision therapy almost a year ago, and we couldn’t be happier with the results! Our daughter was struggling in school, she exhibited signs of dyslexia. Her teacher was concerned she had ADHD, and I wasn’t going to put my 7year old on medication. We sought out so many dead ends, and then we heard of The Center for Vision Development! It has been a blessing! Samantha has made such an impact on our daughters life, not just with her brain to eye communication! She has made a positive impact on her self-esteem, and our daughter loves her! There have been no more discussions about ADHD from school, and her grades have improved! We still have work to do, but The Center was definitely a bright spot when we had no where to turn for answers and help!

Both of our sons had developmental vision issues that affected fluidity w reading, and with one caused him to be a bit "clumsy". After going through the program, both boys demonstrated much more ease and fluidity w reading, less eye strain and more "relaxed vision" if you will, improved sports performance, and the clumsiness resolved completely. With the strain and stress of suppressed vision remediated, we noted less fatigue and frustration w school work, which was a blessing! We have seen 2 different optometrists at CVD, and worked w several different therapists, and they have all been absolutely wonderful!

Now, no problem with eyes. The best part is therapy has in school grades. I would highly tell anyone,. Give it a try -- it really works. So so happy. Oh yeah, kids love the reward program -- gift card & more.

Handwriting, copy work, and reading small font size were a struggle for our 10 yo. This brought about much frustration with school work and pleasure reading. After vision therapy, his handwriting has improved, copy work is easier, and his ability to read smaller font has improved. He is now reading a chapter book a day! Vision therapy worked for our son, and we are so glad we made it a priority. We are so thankful for Dr. G and his amazing staff!

First time going here and I could not have been more impressed. Dr. Kelly is extremely thorough and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend him. I have been having issues with my eyes since experiencing a concussion and he brought clarity and a plan to my situation. I’m so grateful for his help.

Before vision therapy my daughter was having problems reading comprehension, blurred and double vision, and loss of place when reading. After several months of therapy with Jenna, her symptoms drastically improved. She now has so much more confidence with her academics, and she is thriving in school! I can't thank the doctors and therapists enough for making vision therapy a fun and successful experience for my daughter. She even wants to be a vision therapist herself one day!

Went here last week for an eye examine from one of the Doctor's who specializes in eye problems after a brain injury. Dr Martin was very professional and explained everything that was a problem and how it could be corrected through eye therapy and rehab. I will be starting therapy this week and looking forward to correcting some of the eye problems that have bothered me the last few years. Would highly recommend this office.

I was so impressed with the entire staff! I went with a lot of concerns about my eye and health in general and the front desk associate validated my concerns and the Dr calmed me down despite being super emotional and unsure of what was going on. She was one of the most attentive and kind doctors I’ve ever worked with! She also addressed my eye concern as a whole body issue - which I really appreciated. Highly highly recommended!
